Bamidele Akinyemi Oke is a distinguished architect, recognized by the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and a proud full member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA). Holding both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, his academic foundation is as solid as his professional achievements.
With nearly two decades of post-qualification architectural practice experience, Akinyemi Oke has emerged as a design leader, lending his expertise to a plethora of building projects nationwide. His journey includes a pivotal role as Chief Architect at the Physical Planning Unit of the Federal University Oye Ekiti, where he left an indelible mark before transitioning seamlessly into academia as a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the same esteemed institution.
An active advocate for the growth and governance of the architectural profession, Akinyemi Oke has held various leadership positions within the NIA. He currently serves as the Ex-Officio I of the Ekiti State Chapter of the NIA and is a dedicated member of the NIA International Affairs Committee.
His commitment to service is evident in his past roles, including his tenure as the General Secretary for the Ekiti State Chapter of the NIA and his recent completion of a distinguished term as Chairman of the Chapter. Currently, he channels his passion for mentorship and development as the Chair of the NIA Ekiti Chapter Student Affairs Committee, where he tirelessly oversees student-related matters, ensuring the next generation of architects are equipped with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the industry.
